Just before midnight on a Saturday night in November, a gunman entered Club Q, an L.G.B.T.Q. nightclub in Colorado Springs, and open fired killing at least five people and injuring another 18 people. The dance club was considered a haven for the L.G.B.T.Q. community in the area and in the aftermath, Colorado Springs grappled with what this devastating attack means for their community.
